Lead Software Architect and Developer

Eurotrol is a global leader in quality control materials for medical analysers. Our products and software solutions support laboratories worldwide in delivering reliable, accurate patient results.

Your role

You will take technical ownership of our software applications and development environment. You will guide our developers, shape our software architecture, and help ensure our systems are secure, reliable and ready for the future.

Your work will have a direct impact on how we develop and improve applications, including:

• CueSee Compare software for managing and analysing customer measurement data
• In-house ERP system
• Applications for optimising production scheduling
• Manufacturing data visualisation and OEE reporting
• In-house electronic document control software

What will you do?

• Lead & coach: Guide developers, set priorities, improve planning and encourage effective use of modern AI development tools.
• Design & develop: Shape our software architecture and lead the evolution of CueSee Compare and other in-house applications. Contribute hands-on where needed.
• Improve development: Establish practical standards for code reviews, testing, documentation, version control, releases and CI/CD.
• Manage IT systems: Improve the infrastructure and cloud services supporting our applications and development environment.
• Ensure reliability & security: Take the lead in cybersecurity, backups, monitoring, availability and business continuity.
• Shape our technology roadmap: Evaluate new technologies, make sound architectural decisions and coordinate with our external IT partner.

What do we look for?

You are an experienced, hands-on pragmatic professional who combines broad technical knowledge with the ability to lead people and turn ideas into working solutions.

You bring:

• Experience in software development and technical leadership.
• A strong understanding of software architecture, databases, APIs and system integrations.
• Practical knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, networking and security.
• Understanding of modern development practices, including CI/CD, testing and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

You don't need to be a full-time coder or a dedicated system administrator. We are looking for someone who understands both worlds, sees the bigger picture and enjoys getting involved when needed.
