Validate the Accuracy and Precision of your blood glucose meters with CueSee® Glucose-PT, a revolutionary Whole Blood Glucose quality control that is compatible with all blood glucose meters.

The innovative CueSee® Glucose-PT is delivered in an ACU-CAP®,a two compartment packaging form, in which one compartment contains plasma with glucose and the other compartment contains fresh packed red blood cells. Just before use, the two compartments are mixed to obtain a highly commutable, real blood-like sample which can be stored in a provided dropper bottle for multiple analyses. This packaging concept requires no need for additives or stabilizers that may cause matrix effects on the glucose reading, thereby providing real blood like results.

CueSee® Glucose-PT sample
CueSee® Glucose-PT consist of a box containing ACU-CAP® with plastic dropper bottle with cap and pipette and is stable for 8 weeks at 2-8 ºC. After preparing the sample (2 mL) in the dropper bottle it is stable for 4 hours at room temperature. The number of blood glucose meters that can be evaluated with one kit of CueSee® Glucose-PT is variable but estimated to be approximately 20-30 tests per sample.

CueSee® Sampling Kit
By ordering an additional CueSee® Sampling Kit, which contains 3 extra dropper bottles, it is possible to divide the 2 mL whole blood sample over 4 dropper bottles (0,5 mL each). This will make the distribution of the sample to various locations easier.

CueSee® Glucose-PT service
We offer a yearly service during which we ship every month
CueSee® Glucose-PT with a unique glucose concentration in a physiologically relevant range. Make sure that you store CueSee® Glucose-PT in the refrigerator (2-8 ºC) upon arrival! Preferably the measurements are carried out by professional lab personnel to make sure that proper function of the blood glucose meter is validated. Each participant has two weeks to measure the samples and report the results via our website. After this period a summary report can be obtained. In February 2012, a new website will be launched for this service at www.CueSee-online.com.

You can order this service from Eurotrol by indicating the amount of CueSee® Glucose-PT samples you need per month. Participants are free to register an unlimited number of blood glucose meters and glucose results for their own institution.
