Anton Maas, who founded Eurotrol in 1988, sadly passed away on the 17th of November 2011 at the age of 87.

Anton was a Clinical Chemist at the University Hospital of Utrecht, The Netherlands, for more than 35 years. He has published more than 160 articles, most of which are dedicated to the science of pH, blood gases and electrolytes. He was well known internationally and chaired the IFCC expert panel for many years.

His expertise and spirit have been passed on to his son Bart Maas, the owner and President of Eurotrol, and a whole new Eurotrol generation, as his initiative, ideas, and innovation live on.

We at Eurotrol are grateful to Anton and will keep many memories dear to all of us.
